A 38-year-old motorcyclist remains in critical condition after he was seriously injured in a crash in Paphos and transferred to a hospital in Limassol, police said.
The crash happened at 10.40pm on Friday on Chrysoneras Avenue in Kissonerga.
Police said the 38-year-old was riding his motorcycle when, under circumstances still being investigated, he collided with a car driven by a 47-year-old woman.
The motorcyclist, who reportedly was not wearing a helmet, was seriously injured in the violent collision.
He was taken by ambulance to Paphos hospital, where doctors gave him first aid and intubated him. Doctors then decided he had to be transferred to a hospital in Limassol.
He is being treated in the intensive care unit of the private hospital, with his condition still described as critical.
Paphos traffic police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
