Increased cloud cover on Tuesday afternoon is expected to bring scattered showers and possible thunderstorms, mainly in mountain areas and inland regions, according to the Department of Meteorology.
Winds will blow from the south-west to north-west, weak to moderate at three to four Beaufort, with seas slight to moderate. Temperatures will reach 28°C inland, around 26°C on the southern and eastern coasts, 24°C on the western and northern coasts, and 18°C in the higher mountain areas.
Similar conditions are forecast for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with increased afternoon cloud cover expected to bring scattered showers or thunderstorms mainly in mountain and inland areas. Temperatures will rise gradually, settling close to average seasonal values.
