Authorities in Nicosia have arrested a special police officer following a formal complaint involving threats made against his wife.
According to reports, the individual allegedly threatened to kill his wife during the incident. The case is currently being investigated by the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
Following the arrest, the Police officially announced that the officer has been suspended from duty. The suspension was carried out under the direct instructions of the Chief of Police.
