Iran must immediately stop highly paid proxies in Lebanon, Trump warns and threatens with strikes

The US President issued a fresh stern warning to Iran, demanding that Tehran immediately terminate the actions of its allies and armed groups which, according to Donald Trump, are causing unrest in Lebanon.

In a post on the Truth Social platform, he argued that Iran must put an end to the actions of its “highly paid proxies” in the country, linking the maintenance of stability in the region to the behavior of pro-Iranian forces.

“Tehran must immediately stop its highly paid proxies in Lebanon from causing trouble,” Trump wrote, in yet another intervention highlighting the tension that continues to mark relations between Washington and Tehran.

The US president even went a step further, warning that if the situation does not change with Hezbollah, the American side is ready to respond militarily with even greater intensity than in the past.

“If they don’t, we will hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder!!!”, he characteristically stated in his post.
