Cyprus will see mainly clear skies on Wednesday with some passing cloud, though showers are possible in the mountains and possibly the eastern parts of the island.
Winds will begin light and variable at force three, shifting gradually to south-westerly to north-westerly at force three to four, with gusts of up to force four to five along the southern coast. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.
Temperatures will reach around 25°C inland, around 23°C on most coasts, around 21°C on the western coast and around 15°C in the higher mountains.
Thursday will be mainly sunny with locally patchy cloud, though an isolated shower cannot be ruled out in the mountains after midday. Friday will see increased high cloud and later mid-level cloud, with isolated showers possible. Saturday will start with mid and high cloud before turning mainly clear with local cloud and the chance of isolated showers, mainly in the mountains.
Temperatures are not expected to change significantly through to Saturday, remaining close to seasonal averages.
