Isolated showers will hit western and northern parts of Cyprus today before spreading to the mountains and the eastern half of the island, where storms and hail are expected.
Winds will shift and pick up during storms, with a possibility of hail in affected areas. Winds will otherwise blow southwest to northwest at 3 to 4 Beaufort, leaving the sea slightly choppy.
Temperatures are expected to reach 22°C inland and across the eastern and southeastern coasts. Remaining coastal areas will see highs of 20°C, while temperatures will drop to 12°C in the higher mountains.
Cloud cover will remain high early tonight, but the weather will clear later. Winds will turn northwest to north at a light 3 Beaufort, and the sea will remain calm to slightly choppy.
