Police said they set up an investigation team from the outset to examine all the circumstances behind the building collapse reported on April 11, 2026, at 7 Aeschylou Street in the Potamos Germasogeias area of Limassol.
As part of the investigation, statements are being taken from all those involved and all information is being assessed in cooperation with the competent services.
The investigation is ongoing to determine whether any criminal offences may arise against any person.
Police said the case was being investigated with due seriousness and responsibility.
Any further updates will be given when possible, provided this does not affect the course of the investigation.
Once the investigation is completed, the case will be forwarded to the Law Office for study and instructions on its further handling.
