The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for isolated severe thunderstorms on Saturday, April 18, with rainfall locally expected to exceed 35 millimetres per hour and hail forecast during storms.
The warning is in force from 06:00 to 18:00. Storms will initially affect the west of the island before spreading gradually to other areas. Strong and variable winds are expected to intensify during storms.
The Department said localised problems were possible.
