Two men were arrested in a drug bust, where 42 kg of cannabis were found in Larnaca, police said on Friday.
According to police, the drug squad, Ykan, on Thursday stopped a 21-year-old driving in a village in Larnaca, where they found 20kg and 669 g of cannabis in the vehicle.
The man was arrested on the spot, and during an investigation at his home police found another 21 kg and 303g of cannabis.
The drugs were seized as evidence.
Later, during another connected drug bust, police stopped a 57-year-old driving in Larnaca. Officers found a syringe filled with cannabis oil. The man was arrested.
An investigation occurred on the 57-year-old’s home, where police seized evidence.
Both are expected to appear in court on Friday for a remand.
