Police arrested three individuals yesterday to facilitate investigations into a case involving the burglary of three houses and theft in the Limassol district.
The case was reported to the police on 3 July 2026 by a 67-year-old man. According to the complainant, five air conditioning units and compressors, alongside solar water heaters, had been stolen from a complex of three uninhabited houses that he owns. The property owner stated that he located a parked vehicle near the housing complex containing air conditioner components and witnessed an unknown individual fleeing the scene on foot.
During the investigation, evidence was obtained against three individuals aged 23, 21, and 18. Judicial arrest warrants were issued against them, under which they were detained yesterday and placed in custody to facilitate further questioning.
The Pissouri Police Station is continuing its enquiries.
