The 5th ICPAC Mediterranean Finance Summit Returns to Limassol

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), the ICPAC CFO Society, and QUBE Events announce the organisation of the 5th Mediterranean Finance Summit, taking place on 21 and 22 May 2026 at the Parklane Hotel & Resort in Limassol.

The conference returns for its fifth consecutive year, reaffirming its position as one of the most prominent gatherings for finance and accounting professionals across the Eastern Mediterranean. Over two days, senior business executives, Chief Financial Officers, risk management specialists, representatives from banking, regulatory bodies, and technology will come together to exchange knowledge, experience, and strategies on the developments shaping the future of the profession.

This year’s agenda focuses on the major challenges facing organisations and finance functions today: geopolitical uncertainty, macroeconomic developments across Europe, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, strategic risk management, sustainability, and people management in a constantly evolving environment.

Stavros Kattamis, Chairman of the ICPAC CFO Society Board, noted that CFOs in Cyprus are currently dealing with multi-dimensional pressures that directly and indirectly affect how businesses operate and how they set their financial strategy. He pointed to rising geopolitical uncertainty, a shifting global economic reality, increasing operational costs, and the need to integrate technology and digitalisation as factors creating a demanding new environment for finance leaders.

He also highlighted that sustainability and corporate social responsibility are becoming ever more central, while regulatory requirements on transparency and compliance continue to tighten.

According to Kattamis, this year’s summit has been designed precisely around these challenges, with the goal of delivering substantive insight and practical discussion on AI, digital transformation, strategic leadership, risk management, and sustainable growth. The aim, he said, is for participants to leave with the knowledge, perspectives, and practical tools to lead their organisations and teams effectively — now and in the years ahead.

Lilly Pavlou, Executive Director of QUBE Events, added:

“The Mediterranean Finance Summit has grown into one of the most respected gatherings for finance and accounting professionals in the region. QUBE Events is proud to partner with ICPAC and the ICPAC CFO Society to create a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and shaping the future of the profession.”

The 5th Mediterranean Finance Summit aims once again to serve as a key reference point for the finance and business community in Cyprus and the broader region, spotlighting the central role that modern finance functions play in building resilient, forward-thinking, and sustainable organisations.
