Scattered showers to dampen Easter Sunday in parts of Cyprus

Easter Sunday will bring isolated showers to the mountains and southern and eastern areas of Cyprus after midday, according to the latest weather forecast.

Cloud cover is expected to increase throughout the afternoon. Winds will blow from the southwest to northwest at moderate to strong speeds, reaching 4 to 5 on the Beaufort scale. Sea conditions are expected to be slight to moderate.

Temperatures will rise to approximately 21°C inland and along the western and northern coasts. Southern and eastern coastal areas will reach 22°C, while the higher mountain peaks will see highs of 13°C.

The weather will clear by tonight. Northwesterly winds will drop to a light 3 Beaufort, and the sea will remain calm to slight.
