Potential Iran US deal Strait of Hormuz naval blockade

A potential agreement between Iran and the United States outlines that the number of vessels permitted to transit through the strategic Strait of Hormuz would return to pre-war levels within a 30-day period, according to a report by Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency.

The memorandum of understanding stipulates that the ongoing naval blockade must be entirely dismantled within 30 days. Furthermore, Tasnim reported that an initial phase of the agreement would require the release of a portion of Iran’s frozen financial assets.
