Police to manage traffic as livestock farmers march on Presidential Palace Friday

Police will manage traffic across parts of Nicosia on Friday morning as a group of livestock farmers marches to the Presidential Palace in a planned protest over the culling of animals who have foot-and-mouth disease.

Participants will gather near the GSP Stadium at around 10:00am before setting off toward the Palace, where they are expected to arrive at around 11:00am.

Police have urged participants and the wider public to follow officers’ instructions and cooperate throughout the event.
