A road collision on Amathus Avenue in Limassol left one person trapped after a vehicle overturned in the early hours of Wednesday, the Fire Service said.
The call came in at around 03:06, and the Agios Nikolaos fire station responded with a vehicle and rescue team.
Firefighters freed the trapped person using rescue equipment and handed them over to an ambulance crew for transfer to the accident and emergency department of Limassol General Hospital.
The Fire Service said a passenger and the driver of a second vehicle involved in the collision had left the scene before firefighters arrived and did not appear to have sustained serious injuries.
