The Housing Price Index (HPI) reached 110.65 units in the third quarter of 2023, recording an increase compared to both the second quarter of the same year and the third quarter of 2022.
This information is based on the preliminary estimate released today by the Statistical Service.
According to the Statistical Service, the HPI increased by 0.4% compared to the second quarter of 2023 and by 0.6% compared to the third quarter of 2022.
The HPI is a quarterly index that measures the change in the average price of residential units, covering all types of residential units, both new and existing.
The data source for the indicators and weighting factors is the Department of Lands and Surveys of the Ministry of Interior. The data covers all areas under the control of the government of the Republic of Cyprus.
