Police on Thursday are investigating a murder which took place in the early morning hours in Limassol.
According to police statement, the victim is a 44-year-old man who succumbed to stab wounds shortly after 2am in Ypsonas.
Another man, aged 52, was also found seriously injured at the scene.
Police have arrested two people and preliminary information points to the incident having involved at least five men, all Greek Cypriot, possibly more.
The area has been cordoned off while the Limassol CID continues investigations to determine the exact sequence of events which lead to the death of the man.
