Wednesday will be mainly sunny across Cyprus, though low cloud will be more widespread early in the day. Isolated showers are possible in the mountains during the afternoon as cloud builds locally.
Winds will start variable and light at force three, gradually shifting to south-westerly to north-westerly at force three to four, with gusts of up to force five along southern coasts. The sea will be slight to moderate.
Temperatures will reach 30°C inland, 25°C on most coasts, 23°C on the western coast, and 18°C in the higher mountains.
The rest of the week
Thursday and Friday will also be mainly sunny, with cloud building locally in the afternoons and isolated showers again possible, mainly in the mountains. Some dust in the atmosphere is possible on Friday. Temperatures will remain at similar levels, slightly above seasonal averages.
Saturday will turn partly cloudy at times, with isolated showers expected throughout the day and a chance of thunderstorms. Temperatures will drop.
