Limassol-Paphos highway closed after crash near Paramali

A driver has crashed into a road-signage vehicle on the Limassol–Paphos highway near Paramali, forcing the closure of the road towards Paphos.

The collision happened at around 11:00am at a site where roadworks were under way.

Traffic is being diverted onto the old Limassol-Paphos road via the Paramali exit. Drivers can rejoin the highway further along, using either the Avdimou or Pissouri entrance.

Police are at the scene to help manage the aftermath, control traffic and carry out their investigation.

Authorities are urging drivers passing through the area to slow down, keep a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, and follow police instructions on site.
