Kition Ocean Port on Saturday said that it reached an agreement with its striking employees at Larnaca Port.
The company’s staff walked out on Friday, protesting against the company’s outsourcing policy and alleged arbitrary practices.
According to the company’s press release the agreement was reached after constructive dialogue between its management and employee representatives.
The concerns raised by the employees have been carefully considered, and measures are being taken to address them promptly, the company said.
“We value the dedication and hard work of our employees and are committed to ensuring fair treatment and favourable working conditions,” Kition Ocean Port stressed and assured that operations at the port continue as usual, underscoring its commitment to ensuring an open and active port, excellent service and a positive work environment.
