Fourth fake photo used by ‘Sandy’ uncovered by investigators

Another fake photograph used by the woman known as “Sandy” has been uncovered by investigators, following the three previous images posted by Makarios Drousiotis that were found to be stolen from the internet.

The latest image shows a young woman sitting in front of a red Porsche. According to the investigation, “Sandy” sent this photo via SMS to a specific individual, claiming it was her in France with the former judge’s car. She allegedly told the recipient to look at the car and the license plates, asserting that this time the individual involved would not escape.

The woman had previously claimed she was hosted at a young age in a house in Nice that allegedly belonged to the former judge. She had even sent a video of the house, which was also later discovered to be sourced from the internet.

Investigators from the unit examining both Drousiotis’s allegations and complaints of “fake news” from involved parties traced the origin of the Porsche photograph.

Their findings revealed that the photo was taken around 2010 in Monaco. The person in the photo is actually a Cypriot woman who was a student in the UK at the time. Her father, a Cypriot permanent resident of Greece, had gifted her the trip to France to celebrate her university admission.

It appears “Sandy” had been in contact with the young woman’s father via messages. Investigators located the woman pictured, who provided a statement and handed over the original photograph as evidence. This discovery further confirms that “Sandy” systematically used images found online to provide false credibility to the claims made in her messages.
