Forest fire in Akamas put out (update)

A forest fire is in progress in Akamas.

According to an announcement of the Forestry Department, around noon today Sunday a fire broke out at “Koumaroudi” area in Akamas.

Thanks to the strong Fire Fighting forces in the area and theirn immediate reaction the fire was soon put out without expanding.

The causes will be examined at na later stage.
