The Tax Department announces that the submission of the Value Added Tax (VAT) Declaration and the payment of the due tax for the period with a deadline of November 30, 2023, are extended until Monday, January 15, 2024.
The extension was deemed necessary due to the interruption of the operation of the Taxpayers’ Portal (TFA) for upgrade purposes during the period from December 18, 2023, to December 21, 2023.
Submission of the above VAT Declaration and payment of the due tax after January 15, 2024, will be considered overdue and subject to penalties, additional tax, and interest, in accordance with the Value Added Tax Legislation.
