The European Fee has introduced it signed a brand new settlement for the Help to the Committee on Lacking Individuals (CMP), valued at 2.6 million euros.
In a press release, it mentioned the European Union’s Help Programme for the Turkish Cypriot group continues to offer help to facilitate the reunification of Cyprus and, as a part of its efforts, the European Fee has signed a brand new settlement for the Help to the CMP.
That is the thirteenth delegation settlement between the European Fee and the United Nations Growth Programme offering an addition of €2.6 million in help of the work of the Committee on Lacking Individuals (CMP) for the 12 months 2022, the assertion mentioned.
Since 2006, the European Fee has been the main donor in help of the work of CMP, with a complete contribution of €33 million, demonstrating the sturdy dedication of the European Fee to peacebuilding and reconciliation efforts in Cyprus. Since 2006, the stays of 1020 lacking individuals have been recognized and returned to their households.
