EAC’s smart meters coming to thousands of homes this May

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) has announced that its smart meter installation programme is continuing throughout May, covering areas across six districts.

The following areas are scheduled for installation this month:

Nicosia

Engomi and Agios Dometios

  • Both sides of Georgios Grivas Digenis Avenue
  • The area between Iroon, Georgios Grivas Digenis, Agios Prokopios, Archangelou, Lefkotheos avenues and Ilias Papakyriakou Street
  • The area between Georgios Grivas Digenis and Kyriakos Matsis avenues
  • The area between Georgios Grivas Digenis and Louki Akritas avenues

Dali

  • The entire Idalion Municipality and the village of Potamia

Limassol

  • The area between Misiaoulis and Kavazoglou and Nikolaou Pattichi avenues
  • Both sides of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue
  • The area between Nikolaou Pattichi and Archbishop Makarios III avenues and Georgiou Averof, Rinou and Theodoros Potamianos streets, up to the Polemidia roundabout

Larnaca

  • The area between Spyrou Kyprianou and Archbishop Kyprianou avenues, from Makarios Avenue to Archimandrite Makarios Machairiotis Avenue

Famagusta

  • The entire Ayia Napa Municipality

Paphos

Chlorakas

  • The entire Chlorakas Municipality

Each replacement requires a power interruption of no more than 20 minutes. The EAC apologises for any inconvenience caused.
