The weather on Thursday will be mainly fine, with cloud cover developing primarily after midday, according to the Department of Meteorology.
Winds will blow predominantly from the southwest to northwest, starting as light-to-moderate at force three to four Beaufort, before progressively strengthening by the afternoon to moderate-to-strong and occasionally strong, reaching force four to five Beaufort. The sea will be smooth, gradually transitioning to slight later in the day.
Temperatures are projected to reach approximately 31°C inland, 28°C along the southern and eastern coasts, 26°C on the western and northern shores, and 23°C in the higher mountain peaks.
The stable pattern is forecast to shift slightly over the weekend. Intermittent cloud cover is expected on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with a possibility of isolated afternoon showers developing across mountain areas.
Temperatures will remain stable through Saturday, holding close to the average climatological values for the season, ahead of a minor temperature rise projected for Sunday.
