Cyprus and France hold joint military training exercise

The Cyprus National Guard and the French Armed Forces have conducted joint training as part of the Cyprus-France Bilateral Military Cooperation Programme, the National Guard General Staff announced.

The training included a small-scale Tactical Field Exercise and instruction on countering modern threats, the announcement said.

According to the General Staff, the activity promotes the exchange of expertise between the two countries, strengthens bilateral military cooperation and improves the National Guard’s capacity to respond under realistic operational conditions.
