Arson suspected in Geroskipou private clinic ambulance fire

A fire broke out at approximately 1:00 am on Sunday involving four ambulances parked at the Royal Artemis Medical Center in Geroskipou.

According to preliminary information from the police, the fire was extinguished by members of the Fire Service. The vehicles were parked adjacent to one another at the time of the incident.

The blaze caused extensive damage to the front sections of the ambulances, though the total cost has not yet been calculated. Initial examinations at the scene suggest the fire was started maliciously.

Investigations into the incident are set to continue today.
