Ecologists to stage protest for Akamas on Saturday

The management and a delegation of the Ecologist Motion will stage a protest on the way forward for Akamas “Save Akamas – Save Cyprus” that may happen tomorrow at Eleftheria Sq. in Nicosia at 15.00.

In keeping with an announcement of the Ecologists, the way forward for Akamas seems to be bleak as a result of new types of gradual destruction of the peninsula’s setting, including that the fires and the unlawful intervention in areas of Natura 2000 are altering the area’s pure setting.

The announcement concludes by noting that it’s the obligation of everybody to guard the world of Akamas.
