False alarm sparks concern at Paphos mall (video)

A false alarm caused brief concern at a Paphos mall at midday on Tuesday, alarming visitors and staff at the large department store for a few minutes.

The alarm was quickly found to have been triggered in error, and staff immediately made the necessary announcements to restore calm.

Paphos Police Directorate also issued a statement to prevent the unnecessary spread of the news, confirming that there was no issue at all.
