Nicosia law firm Ioannides Demetriou LLC has been named Cyprus National Firm of the Year in financial and corporate law by the International Financial Law Review (IFLR), with partner Christina Ioannidou separately recognised as Cyprus Lawyer of the Year.
In comments to Phileleftheros, Co-founding Partner and Chairman Pambos Ioannides described the awards as “a testament to our firm’s legacy, perseverance, and commitment to excellence,” adding that the firm was privileged to share the stage with leading European law firms at the London ceremony.
Ioannidou is a Director and founding partner of the firm, which was established in 2007. She heads the corporate department and has extensive experience across banking and finance, commercial law, corporate law, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and insolvency, stock exchange listings, and public offerings.
The IFLR Europe Awards are presented annually by IFLR, a publication covering financial and corporate law since 1982. The awards are judged independently by the IFLR editorial team and recognise legally innovative transactions and distinguished law firms across Europe.
This year’s winners were announced at a dinner in London on 11 June.
