Cypriots Worldwide launches new international edition for diaspora Cypriots

The team behind Cypriots Worldwide is preparing a new international edition of its publication dedicated to Cypriots across the globe who have distinguished themselves in fields including leadership, innovation, business, science, education, the arts and public service.

The publication is presented as a global diaspora platform and commemorative volume aimed at documenting the achievements and personal journeys of Cypriots abroad, while highlighting contributions to international communities.

The new edition continues the legacy of earlier publications, including Greek Cypriots in the UK (2005) and Greek Cypriots Worldwide (2009), which focused on documenting the experiences and success stories of the Cypriot diaspora.

The forthcoming edition will include Greek Cypriots, Turkish Cypriots, Maronites, Armenians, Latins and individuals of mixed heritage, reflecting the diversity of the Cypriot community worldwide. It will cover sectors such as entrepreneurship, business, science, education, arts, media, sport, philanthropy, public service and academia.

A final deadline for submissions has been set for Tuesday, 30 June 2026. Cypriots from all communities may apply directly or be nominated for inclusion.

Over the years, Cypriots Worldwide presentations have been hosted at venues in London, including the Hellenic Centre and the Cypriot Community Centre. Events have been attended by figures from politics, academia, culture and the diaspora community.

Previous editions have also featured international personalities across business, technology and the arts.

According to Michael Yiakoumi of the Cypriots Worldwide team, the publication aims to document individuals who inspire and contribute to the global Cypriot community, while also serving as an archive for future generations.

Alongside the printed edition, the Cypriots Worldwide digital platform continues to expand, featuring diaspora news, reports, community initiatives and nomination opportunities.

The final deadline for submissions is Tuesday, 30 June 2026. Nominations and applications can be submitted via www.cypriotsworldwide.com.
