Police arrested four people yesterday on court warrants over an assault on a 19-year-old that left him with lacerations to his head and hand.
Officers were alerted on June 8, shortly after 7pm, to an injured person at Paphos Hospital. They found the 19-year-old victim, who told police his injuries had been caused by people known to him.
In the course of the investigation, evidence was secured against four suspects — aged 24, 19, and two aged 21 — who were arrested yesterday afternoon and taken into custody. The suspects are being investigated on suspicion of assault, causing actual bodily harm and carrying a bladed weapon.
All four are expected to appear before Paphos District Court today, where police will seek remand orders.
Paphos CID is investigating.
