The weather will start mostly clear on Sunday, though developing cloud cover is expected to bring isolated rain or brief thunderstorms to the mountains during the afternoon and early afternoon.
Winds will blow mainly from the southwest to northwest. They will start light at force 3 Beaufort, quickly becoming moderate up to force 4, and later reaching force 4 to 5 locally along the southwest coast. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.
Temperatures will rise to around 36 degrees Celsius inland, around 30 degrees on the northern, southeastern, and eastern coasts, around 28 degrees across the remaining coasts, and around 27 degrees in the higher mountains.
At night, the weather will initially remain mostly clear. Local thin fog or fog and low cloud cover are expected to develop later, primarily across the eastern half of the island. Winds will gradually become variable and light at force 2 to 3 Beaufort, while the sea will remain calm to slightly rough.
Temperatures overnight will drop to around 17 degrees Celsius inland and on the northern coast, around 19 degrees across the rest of the coastal areas, and around 15 degrees in the higher mountains.
