Around 100 vehicles have already been removed as part of an ongoing clearance campaign in Paphos’s industrial zone, Acting Mayor Angelos Onisifourou has announced, with municipal services on site to record, notify owners, and move vehicles causing obstruction or giving the impression of abandonment.
Onisifourou said the campaign was proceeding with coordination and consistency, and that the Municipality and Municipal Council were committed to further interventions to improve the zone’s appearance and upgrade its infrastructure, with the goal of creating a more organised, clean, and safe environment.

New asphalt works have already been scheduled following a Municipal Council decision, he added.
Onisifourou said the goal was a modern and functional industrial zone worthy of the needs and development of the city.
