Woman falls from fourth-floor ledge with no safety barrier while cleaning Limassol building

A woman was found unconscious on Friday afternoon after falling from a fourth-floor ledge with no protective barrier while cleaning a multi-storey building in the Agios Ioannis area of Limassol.

Members of the public found her in the car park at the rear of the building and called an ambulance. According to initial information, she fell while cleaning a ledge on the fourth floor, where no protective barrier was in place.

Limassol CID and emergency services attended the scene, which was cordoned off for examination. The incident is being investigated as a workplace accident.
