Police are investigating two separate dog shooting incidents in Pera Chorio Nisou following complaints from the animals’ owners, with one case close to being solved after a suspect was identified and three weapons seized.
The first incident was reported on April 22, when a dog named Miley was shot. A suspect has been identified and is reported to have admitted involvement, philenews reported. Three weapons were seized in connection with the case.
The second incident occurred on April 10 but was not reported until April 21. A dog named Rocky was shot and taken by its owner to a vet, where it underwent surgery to remove pellets.

Following the report, the owner accompanied police officers to the area where the shooting took place for an on-site inspection. Authorities believe an air weapon was used.
Both incidents took place in the Pera Chorio Nisou area but do not appear to be connected.
