Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across Cyprus from midday on Thursday, particularly in mountainous areas, inland regions and the east, with some storms possibly bringing hail.
The morning will see localised cloud cover with isolated showers possible along coastal areas and an isolated storm in the north. Winds will be variable, initially south-westerly to westerly at three to four Beaufort, strengthening to four to five Beaufort at times along the southern and eastern coasts in the afternoon. Seas will be moderate to rough, with the eastern sea remaining moderate.
Temperatures will reach around 23°C inland and along the south-eastern and eastern coasts, around 22°C along other coastal areas, and around 13°C at the highest mountain elevations.
