Torrential rain is falling on the Nicosia-Limassol highway in the Kornos and Kofinou area, where water has built up on the road surface and visibility is limited, authorities said.
Drivers were urged to exercise particular caution, drive at low speed, keep a safe distance from vehicles ahead and keep their headlights on.
