Three people were taken to the hospital as a precaution after a fire broke out at a house in Latsia, where residents managed to get out safely before trying to put out the blaze, the Fire Service said.
The service said three fire engines were sent to the scene after the fire broke out while the occupants were inside the house.
According to initial information, the residents got out of the property in time. Two of them, along with a neighbour, then tried to extinguish the fire and were taken to the hospital as a precaution after inhaling smoke.
Police and an ambulance also attended the scene. The fire caused damage to one room in the house.
The Fire Service said the blaze appears to have been caused by an electric heater.
