MaIran warns the US: “Don’t test our resolve” as tensions rise

The President of Iran’s Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, warned the US not to “test” the resolve of Iranians to defend their country, as American media reported the deployment of additional troops to the Middle East.

“We are closely monitoring all US movements in the region, especially the deployment of troops,” Ghalibaf stated in a post on X. “Do not test our determination to defend our country,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Navy announced that it had launched cruise missiles toward the US aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, warning that further similar strikes would follow.

According to the statement, the missiles forced the aircraft carrier, which has been deployed in the Gulf region, to “change position.”

“We are continuously monitoring” the movements of the Abraham Lincoln, warned the Commander of the Iranian Navy, Admiral Shahram Irani, noting that “once this hostile fleet enters the range of our missile systems, it will become the target of powerful strikes from the Iranian Navy.”
