Unknown perpetrators planted an improvised explosive device at the entrance of a flower shop in the Kato Polemidia area of Limassol, detonating it at around 1:30 a.m. and causing extensive damage to the premises and nearby parked vehicles.
Preliminary investigations indicated the device was low-powered. Police cordoned off the scene, and the Limassol Crime Investigation Department (CID) is leading the investigation and reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
