Police are investigating after a rental car parked in Limassol was badly damaged in a fire that appears to have been started deliberately.
According to police, the fire broke out at about 5.50am today in a hire car parked in the car park of a children’s play area in Limassol.
The fire was put out by the Fire Service, but the vehicle suffered extensive damage.
Initial examinations indicate that the fire was started maliciously.
Investigations are under way to establish who had the vehicle in their possession at the time.
