Heavy rain hits Limassol–Paphos motorway, police urge caution

Heavy rainfall is affecting traffic on the Limassol–Paphos motorway and surrounding roads, police said on Monday morning.

The downpours, centred on the Paramali area, were reported at around 7:15 am. Visibility is reduced along the affected stretch, and water is pooling and flowing at points, making road surfaces slippery.

Police are urging drivers to reduce speed, maintain a safe following distance, and keep their headlights on.
