Gunman fires seven shots at brothers’ Ayia Napa homes

Two homes on the same street in Ayia Napa were targeted by gunfire in the early hours of Thursday morning, in an attack police in the Famagusta district are now investigating.

The shots were fired at around 2a m at the homes of a 67-year-old and a 60-year-old. Police said three shots were fired at the first property and four at the second, using a firearm, leaving bullet damage on the walls of both homes.

According to philenews sources, the two properties belong to brothers — and family members of the two men were targeted in other criminal acts last summer.

The Famagusta criminal investigations department is continuing its inquiries.
