The Law Office has instructed police to register a rape case against suspended Paphos mayor Phedon Phedonos, with a charge sheet carrying four counts expected to be filed shortly.

According to initial information, the charge sheet will include the felonies of rape and indecent assault. Reports also suggest a third charge of administering a stupefying substance with intent to commit a felony or misdemeanour, though this has not yet been officially confirmed.
