Cypriot authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a special police constable serving in Limassol district in connection with an attack on a mobile speed camera operator and malicious damage to a vehicle.
The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday 12 March 2026 on the Paphos–Limassol motorway, according to police.
A 37-year-old has already been arrested and remains in custody for questioning in connection with the same case.
Police said investigations are continuing to fully establish the circumstances of the incident.
