Police carried out organised patrols across Cyprus overnight, focusing on key points in urban areas in a drive to prevent serious crime, maintain public order and boost public confidence.
The operation led to the arrest of 11 people for various offences, including drink-driving, illegal possession of property and unlawful stay.
During the overnight checks, police stopped 502 vehicles and checked 689 people travelling in them. Officers also carried out 35 inspections at premises as part of efforts to tackle offending, leading to four reports.
In traffic checks carried out during the operation, police issued 321 fines for various road offences, including three drink-driving reports. A total of 71 alcohol tests were carried out.
Police also impounded 10 vehicles as part of their investigations.
