Cyprus received 529,000 doses of foot-and-mouth disease vaccine this morning after the European Commission dispatched the shipment from Lyon via Dubai, the Agriculture Ministry said.
Veterinary Services have made arrangements to store the vaccines under the appropriate conditions, according to the ministry.
The doses will be distributed to private veterinarians in accordance with a vaccination schedule, the ministry added.
