A buggy driver has died after his vehicle veered off a road in the Paphos district and plunged into a ravine around 40 metres deep, police said.
The incident occurred on the Kathikas–Peyia road, where the vehicle left the road at a double bend under circumstances that are still being investigated, according to police.
Fire service crews and an ambulance responded to the scene and freed the driver from the wreckage. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
